After two years of publishing European Union-focused sustainability reports, we’re excited to announce our next milestone in the TenCate Protective Fabrics journey towards a sustainable future – the release of our very first Global Sustainability Report.
As a leader in protective fabrics, we seek to share an authentic reflection of the journey thus far around protecting our planet, the people around us, and the places we call home. This inaugural global report marks a significant step in our commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in our sustainability practices.

- A look at our sustainability journey thus far
This year’s global report serves as a continuation of all our efforts around sustainability thus far, including our previously released, EU-focused Sustainability Reports (published in 2020 and 2021.) - SDG Focus Areas
For the 2022 edition, we’ve centered our report along the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). We’re targeting 5 focus areas: Climate Change, Water Stewardship, Resource Use, Social Responsibility, and Sustainable Innovation. - Expanded reporting metrics
We’re proud to have expanded our reporting to include targets outlined within the Task Force on Sustainability Accounting Standards Boards (SASB), Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.
Looking ahead
While we are proud of the progress we’ve made, we understand that our sustainability journey is an ongoing one. As we move forward, we are committed to setting even more ambitious goals and collaborating with stakeholders to drive positive change throughout the textile industry and beyond.
