In particular, we play close attention to a part of the chain which often doesn’t get prioritised in the way it should: the end user.
We’re currently gearing up to launch an exciting new fabric which will revolutionise the future of FR protective clothing. As part of this, we’ve developed a couple of practical strategies to prioritise the end user and allow them greater agency in the decision-making process.
A unique partnership with garment makers
Our experience has found that giving end users a firsthand experience of the fabric being used for protective clothing is an extremely useful tool in their decision-making process.
As a result, for the launch of our latest fabric, we have set up a partnership with a number of garment makers to enable wear trials. This approach is unique because it enables end users to directly try out our semi-finished product through a garment from one of our launching partners. Following this, they can make a more informed decision about whether the garment feels right for their workplace.
Virtual launch platform
Alongside this, we are developing a virtual platform to accompany the launch of our new fabric. This is our second virtual platform of this kind, having already launched one earlier this year with more to follow in the new year. Once again, these platforms are geared towards end users, giving them the opportunity to listen to expert talks and testimonials about the product.
This one-of-a-kind collaboration between TenCate Protective Fabrics and industry experts brings the latest information about our products directly to the end user. We believe it’s only logical to be launching a new product in this way, with our end users at the core, as they will ultimately be the ones responsible for its day-to-day impacts on their workplace.
This digital approach of a virtual platform focused on the end user is a continuation of our inbound marketing approach that we began two years ago. The goal is to educate end users on challenging topics around protective clothing with valuable and informative content. This is a modern marketing strategy that we’ve invested greatly in, and as a result we are now recognised as thought leaders within our industry.
