We are actively seeking a dynamic Sales and Business Development Director specialising in Emergency Response for the Northern Europe region. Your job as Sales and Business Development Director Emergency Response: 

In this role, you'll be leading key initiatives that are central to success:

  • Elevate brand presence: Champion our leading fabrics within the firefighting (EMS) sector, fostering brand awareness and preference among end-users and influencers through strategic marketing initiatives.

  • Strategic engagement: Take charge of coordinating and participating in promotional activities, such as trade shows and events. Establish new industry relationships, gather insights on product trends, and contribute to our market positioning.

  • Strategic back selling: Showcase your expertise by back-selling our fabrics through garment manufacturers, and securing orders at the end-user level. Highlight the unique selling propositions (USPs) that make us a global leader in technical fabrics.

  • Collaborative global teamwork: Work seamlessly within a global team of driven professionals within our Emergency Response segment, dedicated to making a significant impact in this market.

    This position will report to the US Senior Director, Emergency Response.

Your job responsibilities:

  • Achieve maximum territory sales growth: Drive comprehensive strategies to attain maximum sales growth within the designated territory, ensuring the realization of market share objectives.
  • Relationship management: Build, nurture, and manage relationships with key decision-makers across end-user customers, garment manufacturers, distribution channels, and other partners in the value chain.

  • Brand enhancement and demand creation: Enhance brand awareness and generate product demand by establishing direct relationships with end-user customers, garment manufacturers, distribution channels, and relevant governmental bodies.

  • Resource coordination: Coordinate the deployment of our end-user business development resources, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Supply chain alignment: Proactively create alignment in the supply chain with existing and potential partners to maximize end-user adoption of garment PPE.

  • Supervisory Responsibility: Possess the authority to oversee end-user business development resources within the Emergency Response segment, providing strategic guidance to ensure success.

Desired qualifications:

  • New business Development approach, you are a collaborative team player with a dynamic skillset.

  • Over 10 years of proven expertise in the Emergency Response Safety and/or Textile PPE industry.

  • Preference given to candidates with existing relationships in the Industrial Flame Resistant/Fire Fighting market.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence both peers and customers effectively.

  • Customer and client-focused, possessing strong networking capabilities. Leadership qualities, you are an ambitious self-starter with demonstrable leadership skills. You work with a strong sense of urgency, ensuring efficient and timely outcomes. Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficient in both oral and written English and a second language is preferred.

  • Willing to travel as required for business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team towards shared goals.
